From the heart of Sweden, a new voice that brings us together

Radio Vänta Nova is an Arabic community radio station based in Helsingborg. It is operated by the Vänta Nova Association and holds a broadcasting licence issued by the Swedish Media Authority, Mediemyndigheten.

The station serves the local community, with particular attention to the Arabic-speaking community, through professional, independent and trusted journalism and programming that reflect people’s concerns and make information, services and opportunities in Swedish society easier to access.

We work to strengthen participation and inclusion, share knowledge and build bridges between cultures. Our work is guided by credibility, diversity, independence and respect for every person.

We serve Helsingborg and the surrounding region, with roots in the Arabic-speaking community and a growing multilingual offer for everyone interested in local society and cross-cultural dialogue.
