Our purpose

Radio Vänta Nova makes local community radio from Helsingborg, with particular closeness to the Arabic-speaking community. We provide trusted information, culture and conversation that support knowledge, participation and connections between people.

Independence and clarity

Editorial decisions are made independently. We distinguish news, opinion, advertising and partnerships and label them clearly. Financial or personal interests must not control our reporting.

Verification and sources

We check important claims before publication, assess source reliability and try to let people answer serious criticism. Anonymous sources are used carefully and protected where justified.

Dignity and privacy

We respect personal dignity and privacy, take special care with children and vulnerable people, and avoid unjustified publication of sensitive personal data. We do not accept hatred, threats or discrimination, and mention group identity only when relevant.

Translation and AI assistance

Machine translation may help prepare language versions. A person remains responsible for publication, and automated tools never replace source checking or editorial judgement. Existing human translations are preserved.

Corrections and replies

Factual errors are corrected clearly and promptly. A person affected by substantial criticism may request a reply. Requests are assessed editorially and do not automatically require removal of accurate material.

Swedish media responsibility

Community-radio broadcasts are subject to Swedish rules and the requirement for a responsible publisher. This page does not claim that the website has a separate publication certificate. Send correction requests to contact@radiovantanova.com with the link, date and a short explanation.
