The Vänta Nova Association is the organisation behind the local community station Radio Vänta Nova in Helsingborg. It works for the local community through professional, independent and people-centred media.

To provide trusted local media and social, cultural and educational content that strengthen dialogue, understanding and active participation in Sweden.

To be a trusted community platform that supports inclusion and diversity and enables people and associations to participate and make their voices heard.
The association’s relationship with the station
The association provides the station’s institutional and legal framework. The radio team is responsible for editorial, programme and technical work under principles of credibility, independence, diversity and respect.
Our objectives
- Reflect local questions and residents’ interests.
- Support inclusion through correct information and public education.
- Strengthen dialogue and understanding between cultures.
- Counter misinformation and promote source criticism.
- Encourage civic participation and support civil society.
